After 22 years together, I lost my husband, Nick, to a metastatic cancer relapse in January 2011. Not long after his passing, I felt a deep calling to share my journey of caregiving, healing through grief, and the path I’ve taken towards rediscovering how to “learn to live again.” My hope has been to connect openly with others who are traveling down similar paths of physical, spiritual, and emotional healing.
Since then, I have produced a powerful series of articles on caregiving originally published on shannonmiller.com. I have been a speaker for large and small audiences on my caregiving experience and learnings. More recently, I have become a Certified Grief Coach, driven by a commitment to support individuals during their toughest moments with faith and empathy.
